Therapeutic Interchange

It is a concept developed by CF Health which aims at reducing drug cost of Part D Plans. It is a prescriber targeted program which identifies high costing drugs and members to the plan and targeting them for an interchange to a more cost effective alternative. This is aimed at bringing down direct drug cost as well as opportunity cost to the plan.

The therapeutic interchange program will identify high costing medication to the plan and target this medications for a Brand to Generic conversion or therapeutics alternatives. Under this program the whole population comes under the umbrella and prescribers are targeted for these interventions. Members to be informed accordingly & coordination with pharmacies will be extra. Mail order conversions at this level can also be done for all changed prescription. Our analytical team will see the claims file to identify drugs, members and physicians to be targeted.Financial analysis of the plan pay is the key role to this program
